The Applied Science (Laboratory Techniques) course is designed to provide a broad scientific knowledge and the skills appropriate to the Laboratory and its Environment - this is a reflection of the growing demand for further training in the science sector. Alongside these Science programmes are courses in Horticultural studies. These are based in the Organic Campus in Dromcollogher.

The Engineering Department offers a wide range of practically-based courses at QQI Level 5 in the areas of Construction and Engineering. Courses are based in LCFE Mulgrave St Campus and Kilmallock Road Campus.
